The Aurora Borealis, northern lights, filled the sky with magnificent beauty
that cold Alaskan night when llama Sedo gave birth to her first baby

was named StarBoy. His soft, silky coat was black as a raven's wing. Happily
he plays games with his llama Uncle Jamie and Verna, his favorite human.
StarBoy grows fast and learns cooperation with humans and llama etiquette.
Mama Sedo and StarBoy participate in Eagle River's Bear paw Festival, and his
life changes forever. He becomes Alaska's llama hero.
